Medasil Silicone Drains (Multitubular & Ribbon)

Medasil Silicone Drains are Non Stock Items ( please allow ten days for delivery from receipt of order) and are intended for use when a consistent drainage flow is required for the removal of fluid and exudate that have accumulated following surgery. They are for short term use only (up to 29 days). 

The drains are manufactured from silicone elastomer which is biocompatible, latex and phthalate-free. The drains are soft and pliable, key properties of the material provide minimal tissue reaction and enhance patient comfort. 

Multitubular Drains

• Multilumen, strip design, allows the tubes to be separated, producing a tree-shaped multi drain.
• Useful for delicate, low bleed areas such as the hand, foot or breast.
• Available in two lengths to meet clinical requirements. 
  • ML 411-1110-4515 comes in Length: 152mm, Width: 45mm
  • ML 412-1110-0745 comes in Length: 400mm, Width: 45mm

Ribbon Drains (Opaque)

• The Medasil Silicone Ribbon Drains flat, ribbon, design makes the drain useful for delicate low bleed areas such as the hand, foot or breast.
• The Opaque colour contains Barium Sulphate (BaSO4) which may aid visibility under X-ray.
• ML 412-1110-0745 comes in Length: 457mm, Width: 7.5mm, Thickness: 0.5mm
